Follow these steps to get DECKAI running in under 2 minutes.
Click the Download button above. Save DeckaiSetup_v2.1.4.exe to any folder on your PC. The file is 124 MB.
Double-click the installer. If Windows SmartScreen appears, click "More info" → "Run anyway" — DECKAI is fully code-signed and safe. Allow admin rights when prompted.
DECKAI Camera and DECKAI Mic register as system devices automatically. You'll see them appear in Device Manager. No manual driver installation needed.
Open DECKAI from your desktop shortcut or Start menu. Create a free account or sign in. Choose your first avatar, voice, and background from the dashboard.
Open WhatsApp Desktop, Instagram, Telegram, or any video app. Go to camera settings and select "DECKAI Camera" as your camera source. Select "DECKAI Mic" for the transformed voice.
You're fully transformed. The person on the other end sees and hears whoever you chose to be. Adjust your look on the fly from the DECKAI tray icon.
DECKAI runs on most modern Windows PCs. A dedicated GPU gives the best experience.

DECKAI can run on integrated graphics (Intel Iris / AMD Vega) at reduced quality and lower frame rates. A discrete GPU is required for 1080p 60fps.

Yes, DECKAI is completely safe. It runs entirely on your PC and doesn't intercept, modify, or transmit any app data or personal messages. Our installer is digitally code-signed and has been audited by multiple independent security firms. DECKAI only processes your camera and microphone feed locally — your calls, messages, and identity data are never touched.
No. Apps see DECKAI Camera as a fully legitimate, registered Windows camera device — indistinguishable from a physical webcam in the Windows device stack. WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram, Messenger, and Facebook Video do not detect or block virtual cameras installed through the Windows DirectShow/UVC pipeline. DECKAI Camera has been tested and confirmed working as of December 2025.
Yes! DECKAI Camera works perfectly with WhatsApp Desktop (Windows app) and WhatsApp Web (browser-based). It also works with all Facebook and Meta products including Facebook Video Calls, Instagram Live, Messenger video calls, and Messenger Rooms. Additionally, it supports Telegram Desktop, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Discord, OBS Studio, and more.
A dedicated GPU is strongly recommended for the best experience. Without one, DECKAI will still work using CPU inference, but you'll be limited to 480p or 720p at 15-20 fps. Any NVIDIA GTX 1060 or AMD RX 580 (or newer) will deliver smooth 1080p 30fps performance. An RTX 3060 or better unlocks 1080p 60fps and the most complex avatar models. You can check your GPU compatibility in the DECKAI app before purchasing a plan.
Absolutely. DECKAI processes everything locally on your computer. Your raw camera feed is never uploaded, streamed, or shared with DECKAI servers. The only data that leaves your PC is your account credentials and license verification (encrypted). DECKAI does not store video footage, voice recordings, or any biometric data. You can verify this by monitoring network traffic with any firewall tool.
